PUNCH is a bookshop dedicated to contemporary practices and theory in art, design, architecture, photography and related fields, which was initiated in 2014 in Bucharest by Radu Lesevschi. Since 2016 PUNCH operates its own editorial program though which it supports artists and cultural practitioners from Romania and the wider CEE region, by providing an editorial platform with international circulation. The books published by PUNCH are stocked by over 50 independent and institutional bookshops from over 20 states in Europe, Asia and North America. The PUNCH publications are also present in library collections of institutions such as mumok and Tanzquartier Wien, The National Dance Center Bucharest, TATE Modern, Institut National de l’Histoire d’Art Paris, Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, Canadian Center for Architecture, or municipal libraries such as Zentralbibliothek Zurich or Bibliotheque Municipale de Lyon. PUNCH is participating regularly in international art book fairs such as Offprint (London, Paris), I Never Read (Basel), Friends With Books si Miss Read (Berlin), FLAT (Torino), Libros Mutantes (Madrid) And others.
