Vlad Drăgoi was born in 1987 in Codlea, Brașov County. He attended the courses of the Faculty of Letters in Brașov and started in 2008, at the Lumen Publishing House in Iași, with the prose volume 'History of Arts or the Memoirs of an Incognito Sailor'. Next, in 2013, the volume of poetry 'Metode', published by Max Blecher Publishing House, and, in 2015, the volume 'Eschiva' (poetry, Cartea Românească Publishing House), for which he receives, during the Young Writers Gala, the prize for the Young Writer of 2015 , an award obtained again for the volume of poetry 'sergio leone', published in 2017 by Charmides Publishing House. In 2019, the novel 'My Little Heart of a Lonely Man' will be published by Polirom. In 2020 he publishes the volume of poems 'Aer păsări bere', at OMG publishing house. In 2021 he translated the volume 'Nobody (Failure)' by Philip Schultz, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 2008.
